Choose a mark that suits the image
Use a contrasting text color and a restrained opacity. The outline or background box can help on busy photos. Repeated marks discourage casual cropping, but a visible watermark cannot guarantee protection from copying or removal. Check exported files before publishing.

How do I watermark multiple photos?
Add images, enter text or add a logo, then preview each photo using the thumbnail list. Settings apply to every image. Prepare the full batch, or prepare only the selected photo. Download individual files, inspect their full-size previews, or download a ZIP when more than one image succeeds. If ZIP creation fails, successfully processed images remain available individually.
Are my photos uploaded?
Photo and logo bytes are processed locally by this tool. They are not sent to a server. Nothing is saved automatically. The website can still load its normal analytics and feedback services; these do not receive your selected photos from this tool.
Which image formats are supported?
Use still JPEG, PNG or WebP photos and logos. Animated PNG/WebP, GIF, HEIC, SVG and other formats are rejected. Convert unsupported images first. A file extension alone is not trusted; the header and image decoder must accept it.
What are the batch and resolution limits?
Add up to 30 images, with each file up to 20 MiB and all source photos up to 120 MiB. Inputs can be up to 40 million pixels and 16,000 pixels per side. Working photos are reduced to at most 4,096 pixels per side and 12 million pixels. Logos are reduced to a maximum edge of 2,048 pixels. Prepared image bytes are limited to 120 MiB. Browser memory limits can be lower.
Can I add both text and a logo?
Yes. Each has independent opacity, size, rotation, position and repeat controls. Choose whether text or the logo appears above the other. Transparent PNG or WebP logos retain transparency. Text supports up to four lines, alignment, direction, font family, bold weight, custom outline, shadow and a background box.
How does size work across different photos?
Text size is a percentage of the shorter image edge. Logo width is a percentage of image width. Large or rotated watermarks are fitted within 90 percent of the photo dimensions. Preview geometry uses the final output dimensions, including logo enlargement and small-text warnings. Output resizing preserves aspect ratio and never enlarges the source photo.
Can I make a repeated proof watermark?
Yes. Choose the Proof pattern preset or enable Repeat across the image on either layer. Adjust rotation, opacity and repeat spacing. Repetition is bounded to avoid excessive drawing; very small marks can be spaced farther apart.
Are original image quality and metadata preserved?
The tool creates a new raster image. Resizing, re-encoding, browser color handling and JPEG/WebP quality can change the result. Original EXIF and camera metadata are not copied. The editor requests EXIF-aware decoding. Check important images at full size before sharing.
Which download format should I choose?
PNG supports transparency and lossless encoding of the rendered pixels. JPEG uses the chosen background color wherever the image is transparent. WebP may support transparency and smaller files, depending on the browser encoder. Unsupported encoders produce a clear error instead of a mislabeled file. Quality affects JPEG and supported WebP, not PNG.
Can I reuse my watermark settings?
Save a preset JSON file and reopen it later. Presets contain settings only, not photos or a logo. Existing v30 presets remain supported. Undo and redo keep up to 30 settings changes in the current page. Ctrl/Cmd+Z works outside text controls; add Shift to redo. Replacing or removing a logo clears settings history.
Does a watermark prevent someone from copying my work?
A visible watermark can identify your work and discourage casual reuse, but it cannot guarantee protection against cropping, removal or copying. Avoid covering important content if the image is intended for customers to inspect.
Why can stopping take a moment?
The tool discards cancelled results, but a browser decode, encode or ZIP operation may have to finish before another job can begin. Photos already added remain available. Edits invalidate prepared downloads so they cannot silently point to older settings.
Can I print these images or use any language?
Exports use pixel dimensions, not a selectable print DPI. Choose enough pixels for your print size and check in a print application. Text uses fonts installed on your device; script shaping, glyph coverage and emoji appearance can vary. The preview is scaled, so also inspect a downloaded image.
Can I drag a watermark into position?
Yes. Choose the text or logo layer above the preview, then click or drag on the image. The layer must be enabled and Repeat must be off. You can also focus the preview and use arrow keys, or Shift plus an arrow for larger steps. Numeric controls and nine position buttons remain available.
Why might my preview and exported file look slightly different?
The preview is scaled to fit the editor while its layout uses the final output dimensions. Browser font rendering, image resampling, color handling and JPEG/WebP compression can still affect pixels. Inspect the full-size prepared image before publishing. Warnings identify small text and enlarged logos.
