Choose visual fidelity or editable text
PDF and PowerPoint store document content differently. Preserve Appearance mode renders each selected PDF page as a high-resolution slide image, which is the safest choice when layout fidelity matters. Editable Text Draft instead rebuilds selectable PDF text as editable PowerPoint text boxes and is intended as a starting point for simpler documents.
Scanned PDF support
Scanned pages work naturally in Preserve Appearance mode. In Editable Text Draft mode, optional OCR can recognize a scanned page when it has no selectable text. OCR output should be reviewed because names, numbers and spacing can be recognized incorrectly.
Control the slide deck before export
Choose which PDF pages become slides, reorder them, select 16:9, 4:3 or a slide ratio based on the PDF page, and optionally add page numbers or a source filename footer.

Is PDF to PowerPoint free?
Yes. The included conversion modes are free without signup.
Does it create an editable PowerPoint?
Editable Text Draft creates editable text boxes from selectable PDF text, but it does not reconstruct every image, chart, font or design object. Preserve Appearance is more visually faithful but uses a page image on each slide.
Can I convert only selected pages?
Yes. You can uncheck pages and reorder the remaining pages before creating the PPTX.
Are my PDF files uploaded?
The conversion workflow runs in your browser. OCR language resources are loaded only when OCR is requested.
