QR Studio uses square modules and a clear border, checks colour contrast and compares the decoded preview against the original content. Logos are intentionally small. A successful digital test helps catch a damaged code before download, but physical print quality and camera support still matter.
Choose PNG, SVG or a print-ready PDF
PNG works well in documents and everyday designs. SVG preserves crisp edges at different sizes. PDF exports keep the QR modules as vector shapes. The A4 print sheet provides six copies. Batch output includes a manifest so you can match files to destinations.
Understand what a static QR can do
Your QR stores the destination or data itself. There is no UVs redirect, subscription, scan tracking or built-in expiry. Changing the encoded information requires a new code. If you link to a page you own, you can update the content at that same URL without reprinting the QR.
Frequently asked questions
Are these QR codes free and permanent?
The generated static QR code does not have a subscription or a built-in expiry. It stores your content directly. A linked website, phone number or Wi-Fi password can still stop working or change.
Can I change the destination after printing?
A static QR cannot be edited after it is generated. Use a URL you control if you want to update the content at that address later. This tool does not provide dynamic redirects or scan tracking.
How do you check that a generated code works?
The tool decodes its rendered QR image and checks that the result exactly matches the intended content before enabling export. Contrast, a four-module border and square modules help readability. Camera, material, size and lighting still affect real-world scans.
Which formats can I download?
Download PNG, JPG and scalable SVG. A vector PDF card and an A4 sheet with six copies are also available. For a batch of up to 50 website URLs, download a ZIP with checked PNG and SVG files plus a contents manifest.
Can I add a logo?
Yes. A small centred PNG, JPEG or WebP logo is normalised locally. Logo codes use high error correction and must pass the scan check. Some logos or dense content still fail; remove the logo or shorten the content.
Are Wi-Fi passwords and contact details private?
Generation happens in your browser and the entered data is not uploaded by this tool. Anyone who receives or scans the QR can read its encoded content. Use a guest Wi-Fi network and share only intended contact information.
Can I read an existing QR code?
Upload a sharp PNG, JPEG or WebP image containing one code. The reader extracts the content locally and displays it without automatically opening any link.
Can I create a QR for a PDF file?
Use a publicly accessible HTTPS link to the PDF. This tool does not upload or host documents, and it cannot put an entire PDF inside a normal QR code.
Will every phone support contacts, Wi-Fi and calendar codes?
Support varies between camera and scanner apps. Website codes have the widest compatibility. Test specialised formats on the target devices before printing.
