What is preserved?
The converter is designed for everyday DOCX documents such as letters, reports, proposals, notes and simple business documents. It can preserve common paragraphs, headings, bold, italic and underlined text, font sizes, text colors, alignment, tables and supported JPG or PNG images.
What can look different?
Microsoft Word is a full document-layout application, so a browser converter cannot reproduce every Word feature perfectly. Custom fonts, SmartArt, macros, tracked changes, floating objects, complex headers and footers, advanced fields and highly designed layouts can render differently. Always check the generated PDF when page appearance is important.
Privacy
The conversion is performed locally in the browser. UVs Tool Hub does not need to upload the DOCX to ConvertAPI or another document-conversion API. The browser may still load the website's JavaScript libraries in the normal way, but the selected Word file is processed on your device.
